What kinds of material can be put in the bin?
Bins can be filled with any one of the following materials. Mixing is not permitted.
- Clean Fill (natural material only, soil, sand and stone)
- Waste (Household and Construction, including insulation, drywall, metal, cabinetry & asphalt shingles, etc – additional fees for mattresses and box springs)
- Green Waste (leaves & branches – we DO NOT accept stumps)
- Concrete (must be clean, no painted material, no red brick)

What is the definition of Clean Fill?
Clean fill consists only of topsoil, sand, small amounts of sod, and natural stone. A good rule of thumb is not to include any man made material, including small end cuts of pavers and/or bricks. Also, clean fill does not include concrete, asphalt, wood, plant material, or any other compostable green waste.
What is considered Waste?
Non hazardous solid waste includes: household & renovation waste, demolition waste, drywall, wood, plaster, roofing, shingles and scrap metal. Tables, chairs, and couches can be placed in the bin. Boxsprings and mattresses can also be included but there is an additional fee per item.
Hazardous waste such as used oil, liquid paints, cleaning chemicals, electronics, batteries, and propane tanks cannot be included.
