It is the objective of Kawartha Capital Corp. to make every effort to provide suitable return to work opportunities for workers returning to work after experiencing a work related illness or injury.
Supervisors will be held accountable for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. Adequate training will be provided to all employees prior to use of applicable machinery and equipment.
Every worker must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable Regulations and with safe work practices and procedures as established by Kawartha Capital Corp.
It is imperative for all parties including contractors and sub-contractors to comply with our Safe Work procedures and practices while performing their work duties. All unsafe situations, incidences, injuries and property damage must be reported to a supervisor immediately.
This policy complies with the current Occupational Health and Safety Act and Construction Regulations.
